Who we are

Vinaria is a place where you can have a break and admire the beauty in the heart of Venice, at the foot of the Rialto Bridge, along the Grand Canal. This place has been created to welcome our customers in a minimal and elegant setting where every detail recalls the elements of the Venetian lagoon, and the wide glass windows give an exciting view which is always changing depending on the light and the moment of the day.

In Vinaria, the dishes of the Venetian tradition meet the cook’s creativity and give customers, in their research for pleasure, an experience of Mediterranean cooking fl avours.
We attentively consider the origin of our ingredients, keeping strict relationships with the producers and the craftsmen and always, trying to offer the best at moderate price. A rich selection of national and foreign wines matches perfectly with the cooking offer and completes this itinerary through the senses.


Our selection is constituted by a number of wheat flours together with reground durum wheat flour. Specifically stone-milled wheat seeds and germs are cultivated in Italy through sustainable farming techniques with a low environmental impact and they are all traceable products. Our ingredients are excellences that are cultivated and produced with passion in our country such as San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di latte mozzarella from the Treviso country, the buffalo mozzarella from Calabria as well as the fish which is attentively chosen at the local market every morning; they are all healthy and tasty products.


Our cooking correlates cultures, traditions, techniques and acts. We select and cook the ingredients of our recipes attentively and respectfully considering the origin and quality of the products themselves and enhancing the flavours of the mediterranean cooking. Through each dish we try to give an emotion thanks to the semplicity of a healthy cooking and its perfection in serving the dish.
